          Welcome to the Speedburner Website!

At Speedburners we train athletes. Our objective is pure speed, not the appearance of speed. If you want frilly gadgets, then look elsewhere as there are plenty of those training centers around.

We take you the athlete and build speed in YOU. Our methodology is based on new methods, research, creativity, the evolution of speed, and application by us. Everything you are taught, we have done. Our methods are tried and tested and we continually evolve so that you can too. Speed is an attitude. Our training isn't for everyone, nor is everyone accepted. We attract high, elite level athletes from all sports that have the competitive drive and burning desire to take their game to the next level. If it were easy, everyone would be fast. Our program is proven and difficult and we get results. But it isn't for everybody.  Do you have what it takes?

Speedburners is located in Orange County, California and also has a presence in Texas and the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

Because of the incredible demand for our unique training, we now have two authorized training centers in Orange County that teach the very basic principles of the Speedburner program. As we do not take all that want to participate into our program, you might want to look into one of these. Please keep in mind that these training centers work independently of us, and are not Speedburners.  They simply teach the fundamental phase of our system with the focus on the younger athlete.

Davis Speed and Strength - Lake Forest

Coach John Davis has been teaching our speed principles for the last six years. He has the most experience as I have coached his sons for the last eight years. He can be reached at:

coachjohndavis@cox.net

Bogifit Youth Conditioning Center - Anaheim Hills

The Bogifit instructors have been approved and have completed extensive training with us on the fundamentals of speed. Their programs are geared toward the youth aged athletes. Contact at:

www.bogifit.com

The above mentioned centers are the only ones authorized to train under our name and could change at any time. If the teaching falls off or the certification expires we will pull our program. We are serious about who we associate with and want you the athlete to be correctly taught.  Please keep in mind that evey trainer will add his or her own personality to the program. Once you have completed the basic fundamental program you will be ready to join the elite Speedburner family of athletes. Good luck and we hope to see you soon!

Announcements:

New Speedburner Product:  We have finished the prototype design on our new Speedburner Starting Blocks, which should be available in the next few months.  Along with Blazer Athletics, we have taken the three piece block, secured it, and have what we think will be the best block on the market.  Easy to adjust and lightweight, we are confident that our block with it's sleek design will soon become every sprinter's favorite.  We are now accepting orders for our blocks, which we will also custom make for the particular schools, teams, etc. in team/school colors. The standard (non custom block) will be blue.  See picture on the right.

You can see our blocks in action on the "in the news" page. They were featured in 2008 at the Division III CIF Prelims, the Masters Meet, and the California State Meet, all at Cerritos College. They were also utilized this past week at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational, the number one high school meet in the nation. The demand has been overwhelming and we are excited that the feedback has been so positive. Go to the Speedburner Store page to find information regarding the ordering process.

* Note: If you are interested in ordering our blocks, please allow time for the customizing. We have been inundated with orders and will begin production soon. Do not order in late February expecting them for your initial meet in March. Estimated time is about three weeks.  Thanks.

Most of May will be spent training the NBA pre-draft hopefuls as they get ready for their draft. We will work with colleague Robbie Davis of GameShape as we bring speed to the NBA.

The date is set for May 30-31 for a speed/football camp in Boise, Idaho. It will be hosted by the Gridiron Dreams Football Club.  There will be former Boise State foootball players now in the NFL working on position specifics. Speedburners will run the speed protion of the program. Saturday is for the youth ages, and Sunday for the high school athletes. Stay tuned for a specific location. We will post it as it develops.

June and early July will be spent mostly in Texas as we have several camps set up already.  we will also be forming a track club along with Danny Arnold and Plex.

August takes us first to Boise, Idaho where we will put our program in at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian. then we're off to Hawaii where we are long overdue. A little R&R on the beach surrounded by training with our numerous hawaii burners. Summer is basically here.  We can't wait.  Aloha!
